Description

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and materials
- Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using GPS and transportation management systems
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and update databases
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies

Skills:

-MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK & WRITE IN ENGLISH
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and transportation planning
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management
- Familiarity with transportation management system LOAD BOARDS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Schedule:

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Monday Through Friday

Work on weekends (rotating schedule)

Note: Experience in 3PL (third-party logistics) is a plus.
